Scott founded Matrix in 2000 to deliver a better way for organisations to test the efficiency of and add extra value to, their insurance and risk management arrangements, developing the unique project processes that Matrix still employs today.
Over the past 17 years Scott has worked with thousands of companies helping them to optimise their insurance programmes and achieve improved cover and service whilst delivering significant additional premium economies.
Scott draws upon more than 25 years experience in the sector having worked for some of the world’s leading insurance broking firms. He was also the Group Risk and Insurance Manager for a multinational IT services company with an annual turnover in excess of £3bn.
His insight into, and understanding of, the complex dynamics that drive the insurance markets, allied to his experience working with businesses in every sector of the economy, mean he is singularly well equipped to help our clients achieve the results they require.
Managing Director – M&A
In addition to delivering successful projects for corporate clients and organisations, Graham plays a key role working with our clients in the M&A sector, helping them to optimise their own insurance arrangements, access our independent insurance due diligence services and to derive additional shareholder value from the programmes of their individual portfolio companies.
Graham has over 30 years experience gained in both insurance company and broking environments having worked at a senior level in some of the world’s largest insurance organisations delivering innovative marketing support and solutions in the areas of general commercial insurance and employee benefits, both here in the UK and globally through his involvement in the management of an international insurance broking network spanning more than 100 countries and territories.
Alison J Roome
Director – M&A
Alison is responsible for the day-to-day management of our M&A insurance due diligence team. A highly qualified insurance professional with more than 20 years experience, Alison is a specialist in strategic project management and programme analysis having joined Matrix from an international insurance broker where she led the delivery of responses to key client tenders and RFP’s for businesses with global operations.
Alison has a very strong, in-depth knowledge across all classes of insurance business including property, casualty, financial and specialist lines.
Project Director – Corporate Insurance
Robin heads up our corporate project team. He has been responsible for delivering hundreds of successful insurance projects for companies.
He is an insurance and risk management specialist with experience gained in more than 30 years working on insurance projects for some of the world’s largest insurance brokers where he designed, co-ordinated and managed programmes for clients such as DHL, Reuters, SmithKline Beecham and DeLa Rue.
His knowledge of all aspects of the insurance markets, broking process and risk financing, servicing and management processes helps our corporate clients to achieve the optimum mix of cover, service and premium.
Operations & Audit Manager
Prior to joining Matrix, Simon worked in a diverse range of industries including oil and gas, information technology and international security solutions, gaining a wealth of valuable management experience which he applies in his role supporting our specialists to ensure that we deliver our clients’ projects efficiently and effectively and provide post-project monitoring and support as required.
